San Miguel - a favorite Ibiza holiday destination for young couples and small families during the busy high season. There is a bus service, as well as a small tourist train that has several routes that take you to nearby beaches and towns. The village of San Miguel is a short distance by bus or by car from the bay and offers a larger selection of shops, a chemist, boutiques, banks, post-office, etc. A must to visit is the church of San Miguel with its outstanding frescos, restored by the Paul Getty Foundation. Plus if you venture up at night you will see a whole load of local characters come to life who alone make our tiny village well worth a visit.

Beach of Puerto San Miguel is beautiful and protected by surrounding cliffs. Shallow waters and perfect sandy beach are protected by the natural formation of the bay. There are variety of watersports to chose from andalso a dive school is located at the region. There are nice selection of restaurants and cafes to chose from alongthe beach front of the San Miguel. The Port Balansat Restaurant is known as the best fish restaurant of Ibiza island.
Those who enjoy walking will find many pleasurable trails through the forested hills and along the coastal route. The view over the island from Puig de Missa is spectacular, a just reward for having climbed the mountain. Attractions within a short bus journey or car ride include caves, Cova des Cueram, golf courses and water parks. There are buses and boats to neighbouring resorts as well as to other parts of Ibiza island. Hotels, apartments and villas in San Miguel line the cliffs, providing accommodation to suit most budgets. There are bars and restaurants serving a variety of food and catering for most tastes. These include a traditional English pub serving full English breakfasts and Sunday roasts. There are shops for provisions as well as gifts and souvenirs.
